5. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories:
- Essential (always active): make the Site work and remember your consent choices (
mv_cookie_consentcookie, kept for 6 months). - Performance (with consent): Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) help us understand how the Site is used (traffic statistics, heatmaps and anonymized session recordings). These cookies are kept for up to 2 years depending on the tool.

By default, only essential cookies are active. You can change your choices at any time using the “Cookies management” link at the bottom of the page or the button below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
6. Disclosure to third parties
Your information is only accessible to staff members who need it to perform their duties. We use service providers who process it on our behalf, under agreements requiring them to keep it confidential and secure and to use it only for the intended purposes:

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Quebec, including elsewhere in Canada, in the United States or in the European Union. Before any disclosure outside Quebec, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection, as required by law. Information processed abroad may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law (for example, at the request of a competent authority) or in connection with a business transaction involving Mediavore, subject to the conditions set out by law.
7. Retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to meet our legal obligations. Contact requests that do not lead to a business relationship are kept for no more than 3 years after the last exchange. At the end of the retention period, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
